What are the tournament dates and times?
The Tournament runs from November 24, 2017 through November 26, 2017. Games will begin at 8am Friday and  conclude at 5pm on Sunday, November 26th. 

What does a Stay-to-Play tournament mean?
The tournament offers discounted, pre-negotiated rates, at family friendly hotels within close vicinity of the tournament fields. The LVTC Stay-to-Play tournament requires teams to stay at approved hotels and complete their reservations through our Sport Tournament Concierge in order to qualify for the tournament. Once the online tournament registration closes, a report is provided to the Tournament Director outlining any and all teams that have not met the requirements. These teams are subject to removal from the tournament at the Directors discretion. 

What is a tournament hotel?
A hotel that has been contracted by the Tournament to offer pre-negotiated rates to teams before, during and after the Tournament.

What are the tournaments Stay-to-Play requirements?
Each team is required to book a minimum of 30 total room nights (Example: 10 Rooms with a 3 Night Minimum). Friends and family traveling with the team can also book through our Sport Tournament Concierge, which will count toward your 30 total required rooms.

Do local teams have to reserve rooms at a Tournament Hotel?
No, Las Vegas local teams are exempt from the Stay-to-Play requirements. This does not include teams from cities outside of the Las Vegas Valley, ex: Reno, Mesquite, etc.

Where can I find information on the Stay-to-Play tournament hotels?
Teams can view all tournament hotels on the hotel accommodations page (link above) along with a map which depicts where the tournament hotels are located in relation to the fields. Click on the hotel name of your choice and you will then be taken to a page for that particular hotel. Each hotel page gives a quick summary of the hotel, lists the hotel features, room amenities, available room types as well as rates. All tournament hotels have pools, gyms and complimentary internet. Team meals, transportation and wifi are included at some properties. 

When is the last day to book your hotel?
Teams can book their hotel rooms as late as October 21, 2017; however as the deadline approaches, hotel availability decreases and hotel options become smaller. To avoid missing out on your first choice hotel, please have your coach or manager select your hotel and submit your rooming list to Sport Tournament Concierge as soon as you are accepted into the tournament.

What types of hotels are offered?
The Tournament offers a wide variety of hotel accommodations for teams requesting rooms on Las Vegas Boulevard, near the fields or even Downtown. 

Gaming/Non - Gaming
Being that the Tournament is in Las Vegas, where gambling is legal, some of the Tournament hotels have casinos and have restricted areas for minors. If you do stay at a Casino Hotel, please be mindful of the areas where minors are not permitted; however a lot of these properties have kid zones, movie theaters, bowling alleys, arcades, etc.

On - Strip /Off - Strip
Staying at a mega resort on the Las Vegas strip is convenient for teams as they have all of the amenities, attractions and dining options within property you are staying at; however if your team is staying on the Las Vegas strip, please be mindful that Las Vegas experiences high traffic during citywide conventions and events which tends to lead to increased traffic. Please plan accordingly so that your team is not effected.

Resort Fee
Be aware that a mandatory resort fee is charged to hotel guests at most of the major casino or mega resorts as well as some non - gaming properties that are on the Las Vegas Strip. Sport Tournament Concierge has negotiated discounted resort fees at most tournament hotels; however not all properties accommodate this discount.

The majority of the tournament hotels do not charge guests for parking; however if there is a parking fee, it is noted on the hotel web page details under parking.

Can Teams or fans check-in prior to the tournament or stay at the tournament hotel after the tournament is over?
Sport Tournament Concierge has secured a limited amount of rooms at pre-negotiated rates for teams that wish to stay additional nights outside of the Tournament dates. Please be aware that sometimes the rates will vary and may be more or less than the tournament hotel rates.

Do Teams have to all stay at the same hotel?
No, we understand that not all families have the same accommodation requirements or budgets; therefore teams are not required to stay at the same hotel as long as all reservations are made through Sport Tournament Concierge. Please ensure the Stay-to-Play minimum room night requirement is fulfilled.

Should teams wait to reserve their hotel until the schedule is released?
The schedule is not released until November 15th, so DO NOT wait to reserve your room. Failure to book rooms prior to the schedule release date may result in your team being removed from the schedule completely. Sport Tournament Concierge notifies all teams prior to the deadline if they have not met the requirements in order to assist in making the required reservations; however teams that do not comply with Stay-to-Play requirements are subject to removal from the tournament at the Tournament Directors discretion. 

How do coaches and managers reserve their teams room block at a tournament hotel?
Once the Teams Tournament Hotel is chosen, click the Book Now button on the tournament hotels web page which will send you to the teams reservation form. Coaches/Managers will be prompted to fill out the teams contact information, and instructed to download the "Tournament Rooming List Template" which will ask for the players name, check -in /check-out dates, room type requested and agree to the terms and conditions. Once submitted, Sport Tournament Concierge will be in contact within 72 business hours. We will confirm availability as well as provide confirmation numbers and the reservation method for the players.

How do teams make changes to the rooming list after our teams tournament hotel is confirmed?
Teams can make changes to their registration without penalty under the following terms:
Changes are requested and confirmed by Sport Tournament Concierge before the deadline of October 21, 2017. If additional rooms are being requested that rooms are available within the tournament block.
If cancellations need to be made, then the number of room nights remaining must meet the Stay- to-Play requirements. The credit or debit card provided by the team or manger/coach will be charged one nights' room and tax. 

What does "SOLD OUT" or "LIMITED AVAILABILITY" mean next to the tournament hotel name on the hotel accommodations page?
If there are no rooms available or limited rooms remaining then we will place a “SOLD OUT” or "LIMITED AVAILABILITY" notification next to the hotels name. If you already have a confirmed room block at a hotel that is SOLD OUT then your rooms are reserved until the cut off date. Any rooms not paid for by a parent or coach will be released back to the hotel to avoid the team credit card on file being charged.

What if a team requires additional rooms to be booked under their current room block but the tournament hotel states "SOLD OUT"?
Contact Sport Tournament Concierge immediately at info@sporttournamentconcierge.com and we will  be able to accommodate the request at the same rate as long as there is hotel availability.

Can I reserve my teams rooms at a tournament hotel without submitting a rooming list or credit card authorization form?
No, if a team reserves their room at a tournament hotel without going through the reservation requirements, Sport Tournament Concierge is authorized to release the unaccounted for hotel reservations back to the hotel. The hotel requires a payment method on file in order for us to move the teams requested rooms out of inventory. If a credit card authorization form is not provided when the rooming list is submitted, the rooms are not guaranteed. If another team submits all of the proper forms prior, then they have first right to the rooms available in hotel room block.

How do families pay for their individual room reservation under their teams room block at a Tournament Hotel?
Through the custom online passkey web link where the cc info can be entered into a secure web portal that is directly linked with the hotel.
